Staying Safe while Blogging

Last night on KSL there was a story dedicated to people who blog. Very interesting. I would recommend those who are bloggers go to ksl.com and watch the video stream. I think I may go private, I know it's a pain, but I would hate my family to be the target of stalking, etc. Go watch and see what you think, I'd love to hear your comments on the subject.

It is scary. That's what made me finally decide to go private, and though it was an initial pain it was worth the peace of mind). However, I have found that anything you've blogged about previous to going private is still available through google web searches. Bottom line, I just wish we lived in a world where we could write happy stories without fear of whackos!

Thanks for sharing that article. It has been a huge peace of mind going private and knowing exactly who my readers are. Although, I had no idea pre- private posts are still available. I don't like that at all! I may have to delete them after printing out a book.

thanks for passing along the info Tammy. That is probably a good idea to go private. It's sad because it's such a fun way to hook up with people...What a bummer!

PS. I'm stalking you!
PPS. I'm still stalking you!

If you listen really carefully to the story the person who was messing around with their pictures was a relative.

To each their own.
