Still gives a "thumbs up" as he's wheeled to surgery.
Quite a fashion statement for our little guy.
Back from surgery and resting.
Playing the new Transformers game that Cindy and Carl brought up, this was a highlight of his stay.
They had a large movie collection that he could walk down and pick up some movies. After six days we had almost watched them all.
Bridger, Masen, and Ryan hold Sunday School with Caleb.
Walking down the hall with Bridger. He has awesome brothers. They were very concerned and spent a few nights watching movies with him and bringing him Bioniocles. Even the nurses commented on how polite and kind they were. Hope this lasts a while.

We've had quite a week. On Tuesday morning Caleb had his appendix removed. He had what we thought was the flu since early Saturday morning, but finally on Monday evening after taking him to pick up his football gear and his telling me every bump in the road was painful, I took him to emergency.
When they got in there it had perforated, or ruptured. This meant we would spend the next five days in the hospital where he was on some heavy duty antibotics. He never complained of any pain and was a trooper. In fact the nurses all fell in love with the guy. We had excellent care, however are really glad to be back home.
Thank you to all our family and friends who made this experience easier. We are truly blessed in so many ways.
