Watching, Always Watching

I received the best letter from Bridger this week.  I decided I wanted to post it.  Mostly because this is like my journal, and the other because for those of  you who read this (I hope someone does) I wanted you to know that many times when you feel like you are doing things and no one is paying attention or even caring that you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, they really are watching and documenting in their minds exactly what you are doing.  And it will come back and make you realize it is all worth it.

So, here goes...Enjoy...
Feliz dia de Madres (Happy Mother's Day) Como fue su dia Estoy en mi clase ahora y estoy muy aburrorido entonces quiero excribirtu.  (I'm in class, bored so wanted to write you, I  think that's what it says)  Mom you are so amazing.  Thank you so much for everything you have given me.  There are things I have watched you do my entire life that I haven't thought much about until now.  Like uno, every night, well I guess not everyone, pero When I am home, I see you praying on your knees next to your bed.  Until now prayer has just kinda been an alright thing in my life.  I mean I guess it's good, but now I know that prayer works.  I even have a sweet story about it if  you remind me I'll tell you at the airport on Sunday!  Pero prayer is amazing.  Also being nice to everyone no matter what they are like to you!  And you have always chosen to be happy.  That's who I am trying to be anyways.  And of course the scrips.  Freak there are some crazy ones.  Some of my favorites since being here are:  Alma 36:3, D&C 84:88; alma 34:40-41; Alma 32:21 y tambien Alma 32: 27 and I would always see you reading yours in your bed at night.  Thank you for all the things you have always taught me in my life.  You're such an great example to me.  I love you so much.  Can't wait to talk to you.  Love your son, Elder Clayton

See, it's all worth it.

For his final package, we mailed a cooler packed with SpankyS sandwiches.  He did not know it was coming.  I told him in an email that morning, there would be a surprise package and to get it as soon as he could because there was perishables inside.  I hope he was excited to receive it as we were to send it.  It wasn't the cheapest thing we've sent, but seriously worth every penny.
Here's a copy of the quote I sent him about Pooh talking to Christopher Robin.  It's from the book Pooh's Grand Adventure.  I have always loved Winnie the Pooh and even though he may have outgrown him, the message is still strong at any age.
Packed with love, and lots of ice to send him one last Turkey, Bacon, Avacado.  He loves SpankyS and seriously no better thing we could have sent him to show how much we love and will miss him.
WE LOVE YOU BRIDGER!!!

Thanks for letting my cry with you yesterday, I'm not sure what came over me, but you're doing a great job.
