Ok, last night was Bonco night, and believe it or not, I won 1st place. This is a first. It really doesn't matter who wins, it is night of fun, food and most of all many, many laughs. These are way fun girls that get together once a month and if nothing else have free therapy with one another. I have tried to post the picture I took of my fabulous prize and my score sheet, but having no luck. I'll do it again later when I have more time. But for now, know that I was one of the big winners last night.
Thanks for a fantastic night ladies, it's the best!!!

Our Newly Sustained Prophet
Yesterday in the first session of General Conference we stood and sustained our new prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. It was amazing. As I watched each quorum and group stand and give their sustaining vote and approval, the spirit touched my heart and I knew that he indeed was a Prophet of God. What a wonderful experience to be a part of. The Church will move forward and President Monson will do a wonderful job.

Weekly Update
Ok, I am addicted to the blogging world. Is it borderline "stalking?" I have found new cyberfriends who I am certain I will never meet but love reading about their lives. Weirder still...somehow I find a link of connection. For example, I was reading one and she has two darling little girls, next time I check out her blog, her mom is in our stake and I coached her little brother in soccer many years ago. Scary! I never knew his sisters.
This is why you never talk about anyone, somehow it will get back to them. You've heard of the game Seven steps to Kevin Bacon, well, if you're LDS, I think it can be shortened to Four or Five Steps.
I have to say I'm looking forward to next weekend and being able to sustain President Monson as our new prophet. This will be a memorable conference, his sustaining, and also a new member of the Quorum of the Twelve apostles. I feel so fortunate to work at Church Headquarters and feel of their spirits and testimonies, I'm truly blessed. I can't help but think how timely this is as the next month in Primary the theme is on Prophets. This will be an excellent time to let the children get to know President Monson. I love serving in Primary. I come home each week loving those children even more than the week before. Everyone should have the opportunity to serve in the Primary.

Street Legal
Well, it's official. Bridger is a licensed driver. Because of his being so busy after school working and my crazy schedule I let him miss school and we went up to the DMV. He is excited and we took a booklet home so he can read up to get his license for the scooter we purchased. It's hard to believe that he can actually drive, and then I had another scary thought. Stetson could actually get his learner's permit in less than a year. Wow, who would have imagined they could grow up so quickly.
I need to find out how to post pictures, otherwise, it's verbiage only. Someone please help me.
